Iriomote Island, a World Natural Heritage site, has 123 underpasses under the road to prevent traffic accidents involving wild animals.Come and experience improving the habitat of plants and animals by cleaning the area around the underpasses with our specialists.
We have prepared numerous experiences for you to connect with the islanders, including making your own chopsticks, dyeing and weaving with dyes made from natural ingredients, catered dinner at a local restaurant, starry sky guided tours, and island taiko drumming experiences.

【Clothing】
- Please wear comfortable clothing.
- Please also bring a change of clothes for the dyeing & weaving and Sabani boat ride activities as your lower body will get wet.
- Please also take measures against preventing sunburn and insect bites as many of the activities take place outdoors.
- Flip-flops
- Round-trip ticket from Ishigaki Port to Uehara Port is not included. Return to Uehara Port is around 2:00 PM.
- Some activities may not be available depending on weather conditions.
